R&D Centre for Bicycles and Sewing Machines (Polytechnic College Wing): the college signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda.

In a significant and commendable move aimed at providing technical exposure to the students and faculty of the R&D Centre for Bicycles and Sewing Machines (Polytechnic College Wing), the college has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, dated 16 September 2025.
The MoU was signed by Mr V. K. Srivastava, general manager, R&D Centre for Bicycles and Sewing Machines, and Dr Gurinderpal Singh Brar, registrar, MRSPTU. The MoU was officially handed over between Er. Harjot Singh Sidhu, Director of Training & Placement at MRSPTU, and Mr. Paramvir Singh, Admin (Polytechnic) at the R&D Centre, while Dr. Haramritpal Singh, Assistant Professor from the Mechanical Department at GZSCCET; Mr. Manpreet Singh, Head of Department; and Mr. Anurag Sood, Incharge (Polytechnic) from both institutions at the R&D Centre, Ludhiana
This partnership will allow both institutions to share knowledge about the newest technologies in mechanical software, industrial machinery, and scientific information, helping to create skilled workers in engineering, technology, and the sciences for different industries. Furthermore, both organisations will provide training in the latest processes and technologies for their students and faculty. Also, a partnership will be set up to create a program that helps teachers improve their skills and knowledge, encouraging them to work together by sharing their expertise and resources.
The R&D Centre for Bicycles and Sewing Machines (Polytechnic College Wing) anticipates forming a lasting and impactful partnership with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University in Bathinda.
